First Presbyterian Church is among several local churches that has partnered with Treasure Valley Foods of Boise, Idaho to address and meet the needs of the “unemployed and underemployed” with a new food service program entitled Good Faith Food Box. 

Successful public art draws people to it, makes them want to interact with it and opens them up to conversations with others, helping create a sense of community.

The curtain will rise on Thursday at 7 p.m. in The Prizery’s Chastain Theatre, as the Halifax County Middle School Crossing of the Dan players, singers and musicians present the story of the historic Crossing of the Dan.
