Carl Wayne Anderson of Greensboro, N.C. and formerly of Nathalie died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. He was born in Halifax County October 17, 1945, and was 64 years of age. Mr. Anderson was the son of the late Clarence Wilson and Dorothy Lacks Anderson, who survives. He was a member of Catawba Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, his survivors include a brother: Weldon Lee Anderson and wife, Vivian, of Nathalie; three sisters: Sandra A. Midkiff and husband, Allie, of Halifax; Nancy A. Conner and husband, Ray, of South Boston; Bobbie A. Waller and husband, Eddie, of Nathalie; a special friend: Linda Pless of Greensboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Catawba Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. David Dickerson officiating. The family received friends at Powell Funeral Home Thursday night.
