Will Tuck, son of Travis and Dawn Tuck of South Boston, met up with Frosty the Snowman on the sidewalks of downtown South Boston during open house Sunday afternoon.

Also greeting youngsters and listening to their Christmas wish list was jolly old Saint Nick. Parents had an opportunity to capture their child’s moment with Santa in a photograph, while Carlbrook Christmas Carolers made merry, and shoppers checked out the free goodies at all downtown stores.

Open house sponsors included Destination Downtown South Boston, the Third Thursday Committee and contributions from Blue Ridge Beverage and Enchanted Surroundings.
